Federally certified mediamatics technician
From the idea to creative realisation! As a federally certified mediamatics technician, you will work on marketing concepts - for both printed and digital media. You will keep our websites up to date and take responsibility for small projects. Your goal: to present our delicious Emmi products in the most appealing way possible and tailor them precisely to our target group.
During your apprenticeship as a mediamatics technician, you will learn how to combine multimedia, design and IT into an exciting mix. Over the course of four years, you will immerse yourself in the world of design, marketing, communication and project development. From the creation of images, videos, music and texts to the development of customer-friendly presentations - your creativity knows no bounds. You will bring animations to life, prepare content for various media and actively participate in the design of products and activities. You will not only work with printers and IT companies, but also have direct contact with customers. Requirements
You will fit in with us if you have a good secondary school leaving certificate, especially in German, English and maths. As a mediamatics technician, you combine creativity with technical expertise. You are innovative and flexible, have a broad general knowledge and are always curious about new things. As a creative doer, you are open and communicative, a good listener and customer-orientated. You have the ability to prepare texts and descriptions in such a way that everyone can understand them. An interest in new media and a certain technical flair are an advantage. You think in a structured way, orientate yourself towards processes and also keep an eye on business aspects.
Apprenticeship & vocational school
The four-year apprenticeship to become a mediamatics technician offers you an exciting mix of theory and practice. Every year, Emmi employs an apprentice who has completed their basic training at BiCT in Bern.
1st - 2nd year of apprenticeship: You will learn all the necessary mediamatics skills at BiCT. From the middle to the end of January in the 2nd year of your apprenticeship, you can apply for your last two years of practical training at Emmi.
3rd - 4th year of apprenticeship: Together with the other mediamatics apprentices, you will take on full responsibility for our internal mediamatics service. You will work on a wide range of tasks and gain valuable experience in managing mediamatics projects. During this time, you will attend the BBZ vocational school in Biel to expand your knowledge even further.
