Emmi farmer ambassadors

Trust, proximity to the source and an appreciation of quality are the hallmarks of our long-standing partnership with our dairy farmers. They tend to their cattle with love and passion each and every day and are proud of the innovative products we make from their milk. Around 300 of them are also proud Emmi ambassadors. Together, we create shared added social value and make sustainable dairy farming the norm.

Emmi is backed not only by some 3,000 employees in Switzerland but also by over 6,000 dairy farmers – from Flamatt in the canton of Fribourg to Bad Ragaz in the canton of St. Gallen. The long-standing partnership with our regional dairy farmers has always been particularly important to us. Through our close cooperation, we can help to create value in rural regions and remain true to the core of our products, with high-quality and increasingly sustainably produced milk. Together, we create added value and make sustainable dairy farming the norm.

Swiss dairy products – natural, sustainable and high in quality

The family structures create the best conditions and an ideal environment for high-quality, sustainable milk, and are what makes the Swiss dairy industry unique. 93 % of the natural, top-quality milk is produced regionally in accordance with the “swissmilk green” sustainability standard, contributing to the high quality of Emmi’s dairy products.
