You should also have:

  • Initial work experience through internships
  • Motivation and commitment, as well as the ability to take responsibility for a wide range of Emmi Group projects on your own initiative.

Our trainee programmes

During the exciting two years of your trainee programme, you can explore the multi-faceted world of Emmi. From Marketing and Sales to Purchasing and Planning to HR and Finance, various departments are open to you. You have the unique opportunity to decide for yourself which areas you would like to specialise in. Take this opportunity to discover the diversity of our company at different locations and drive your individual development.

After this introductory phase, you will have the freedom to explore related areas such as production planning, sales, purchasing and supply chain management over two additional six-month periods. This will allow you to see and better understand the links with logistics from different perspectives. The conclusion of your trainee programme consists of an additional six-month period in logistics. Here you will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained from the other specialist areas in practice to round off and deepen your experience

Preferred fields of study: Economics or business informatics with a focus on business innovation, supply chain management, logistics, innovation or partner management

During your two-year trainee programme with us, you can explore the multi-faceted world of Emmi. From research and development of new products to quality and environmental management, operational controlling, dairy technology and supply chain management – there are many doors open to you in the field of food science. Our two-year trainee programme offers you specialised IT training. You will spend the first six months working directly in our IT department, where you will acquire basic knowledge and skills in our systems and processes. This will be followed by three further six-month assignments in various IT-related areas that are closely linked to our processes and systems. During these phases, you will have the opportunity to gain in-depth insight into IT applications and strategies. For example, you can learn how IT supports the Finance department, or how it influences and improves processes in Human Resources, Production, Marketing, Sales and Integrated Business Planning (IBP). These sections are designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of how IT acts as the indispensable backbone of our business processes.
