The third Emmi Sustainability Report is an update of the reports published in 2011 and 2013. These define Emmi’s fundamental stance on the topic of sustainability in great detail, devoting due attention to its organisational aspects. The recently published Emmi Sustainability Report 3 is devoted to specific sustainability projects along the Emmi value chain and also portrays the most important changes in Emmi’s sustainability commitments.
Key organisational and strategic developments in Emmi’s commitment to sustainability:
- Four priority areas where specific, binding objectives and measures will be formulated by mid 2016.
- Appointment of a Head of Sustainability at the start of 2016.
- Provision of financial resources from the reimbursement of CO2 payments.
Like the first two reports, the current Emmi Sustainability Report 3 is based on the requirements of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and meets the requirements of reporting level C. For reasons of space, the GRI index was published as a separate document and, in addition to the required disclosures, contains extensive additional information.
This Sustainability Report and the accompanying GRI index are available in German and English. Printed copies are also available on request.
